IntraCloud is an IT Continuity Provider specifically working in the SME sector. Prior to our launch, we carried out extensive market research to establish the requirements of small & medium enterprises when contemplating protecting their IT against loss of service due to human nature, mother nature or most probably - criminal nature. One message was very clear: SMEs want a local, friendly and experienced face to talk them through the requirements of their business first, one that will cut through the technical jargon and provide cost-effective solutions to their ever-changing business needs. With years of industry experience we have the necessary knowledge and expertise to do just that. We understand the technology but more importantly we understand business. We know the demands placed on business owners/managers and want to show that IT is very much a business investment and not just a business cost.
Cyber Security has focussed most businesses minds to the need for business continuity. Ransomware, DoS (Denial of Service), Phishing, Water Holing, Bots are terms that are becoming commonplace as news of the next corporate giant defences are breached. These larger corporations make the news but the new target is the SME sector where resources are limited, IT support is smaller and just keeping the lights on is their main concern. It's not surprising that this sector is gaining attention. Research revealed that 44% of UK businesses had been infected by Ransomware at least once in the last two years.
